    February Profit : 18.75pts

What seemed a dead cert in Rochdale, has wrecked my bet.
United 2-0 up, Bournemouth 3-0 up and Leeds 2-0 Up, however, the leaders of League 2 are losing 1-3 to a side nearly 30 points below them.
Ah well, it's typical really

Coca Cola League 2 Matches Barnet v Bury

    Bury @ 6/5

Coca Cola League 2 Matches Dagenham & Red v Grimsby

    Dagenham & Red @ 4/6

Coca Cola League 2 Matches Northampton v Cheltenham

    Northampton @ 8/11

All three teams should reallyt do it tomorrow. Didn't fancy any of the Championship fixtures or the League 1, too close to call.
I'm not expecting this to come through but it's worth a shot.

Hopefully, Bury can keep their form going, Dag & Red can keep scoring and Northampton make their home advantage count.

    We'll have to see.

    Newcastle @ 4/9

    Staked : 5pts.
    Odds : 3.5/1

I've a feeling Newcastle United will continue their marauding home form against Barnsley tomorrow and I really think Aldershot can make it back to back wins at home to Burton tomorrow. As for Depor, it'll be a bit harder. They've huge injury problems but I went for them because they weren't too bad of valuable considering their position and indeed home form against a poor Tenerife team.

    There we have it.
    Here's hoping :)

A penalty in the 71st minute at Plymouth runied that for me.
Second time a fucking penalty from Plymouth Argyle messed up a tasty accumulator.

Got stake back thanks to PP's special though.

Longshot if you ask me. Hope it comes through though.!

Being a Newcastle United fan, of course I'll be backing the Toon today but I really do think we'll win. We've been scoring a lot of goals and got back to winning ways away from home against Watford a couple of weeks back. Middlesbrough have been poor away from home and their home form is quite good, however, 6/4 odds for a team top of the Championship, only have to travel a few miles to the Riverside, I think we'll have enough for them.

Lorient - My main worry, they've been unpredictable all season long. I am a slight fan of them and I really hope that home advantage will triumph today. Lens are decent too but are suffering huge injury worries. Lorient have been heavily reliant on their keeper for dramatics but I'm hoping for the best. Evens isn't a bad price for a team a few places ahead of them in the table.

Chelsea - Well it really should be all three points at Stamford Bridge today. No excuses. They got back to winning ways against Stoke in the FA Cup and to be honest, West Ham won't be looking forward to this test. They're in a relegation battle of their own and Chelsea need points to keep one hand on the title. Chelsea to win, or they should do anyway. Poor odds of 1/5 for the win but it boosted my potential winnings a considerable amount, and definitely enough for me to stick them in.

Tottenham - Well it's got to be back to business for Redknapp's men. They need to keep the push of for Europe and no better place to do it then White Hart Lane. Blackburn will hopefully keep up their dismal footballing habits away from home and Spurs get an easy win.

    -5pts.

Lorient pulled it off, just, as expected.
    Chelsea won comfortably.
    Spurs won comfortably
Newcastle drew in a fair result.

A tad unlucky I suppose but I can look at it as me paying 5pts for Newcastle not to lose :D

    Optimism is the key! :D

:D just aswell then, great name though :D

How you doin on olbg? I came 3rd in premiership tippin last month, won £5

Not really near the money in any tipping leagues at minute, but 1 or 2 results can change that. Usually stay away from horses as I dunno anything about it

That's very good going finishing 3rd in that :)

I somehow managed to end up the 10th top horse tipster on it too a month back!

I'm not a huge horse fella myself but it doesn't require an expert brain to get started in it.!

Boing Boing might be one to watch out for in the future :P

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,979 ✭✭✭Vurnon San Benito

    Cheltenham

    Yes, it's finally here! :D

My bet for the day :

    General Miller E/W - 2.5pts Staked @ 22/1.

He can be got @ 34's on Betfair for anyone interested :)

A lot of people expecting Dunguib to win with his eyes closed, I don't think it'll be that easy! Good feeling about General Miller, he's done well over 2m 110yds.

Best thing is : If Dunguib wins then all losing singles are refunded so it's not a bad scenario if the heavy favourite triumphs as expected!

Cheerio and best of luck to everyone else with their bets at Chelt.

H/T - F/T's are the way of the future ;) Seriously good odds, only way to get close on football tips I reckon. You'll get nowhere betting on a team to win.

I only bet on win if I'm 100% as I know any profit will give me a couple of HT/FT bets :)

I notice there are 'expert' tipsters who have huge % wins (and subsquently lot of followers) who basically just lay horses. WTF's the point? They'll not be making any big profit.

Good luck tomorrow, seen that PP moneyback offer on tv....Mr Power will be sitting with a sniper rifle aimed at finishing line if that horse is winning :P

My biggest bet to date, I could well regret it!

Coca Cola C'ship Matches Newcastle v Scunthorpe
    17-03-2010 19:45
    Win-Draw-Win
    Newcastle @ 3/10

    Staked : €103.33

Fabricio Coloccini, Jose Enrqiue and Wayne Routledge all start again with Guthrie in centremid with Nolan. Should be goals in us at home to Scunnie. Better ****ing be I suppose!

Buying a new phone so this will pay for a third of it if it comes through.!
