Well in fairness eagle eye didn't make an excuse for it he has clearly shown on many occasions he accepts as have many Pats fans on here. But when other fans use it to fuel an argument that's where it gets petty. In this case headhunter says the Raiders Cheating of old doesn't compare which in actual fact it does. Cheating is cheating no matter what way you look at it. The severity of it is punishable in different ways.

I clearly accept what the Pats did was wrong but it would be naive to think they were or are the only ones cheating in the game.

Other teams might have been cheating in different ways but Eagle eye never said that, he said other teams were recording signals like the Patriots which is a pretty wild claim to make with no proof what so ever.

Well Jimmy Johnson said that many teams were at it. He had no reason to go backing up the Patriots but he just commented that he whole thing was overblown.
Heres a short Q+A he did at the time of it all.

I think this quote from NFL.com sums up the raiders this year.
If one play could sum up the first half of the season for the Raiders it might have come on the final drive. On second-and-28 with Oakland trailing 24-16, JaMarcus Russell went back to pass and had no open receivers. That was because Louis Murphy and Johnnie Lee Higgins got tangled up with each other and both hit the ground
