    Hey there guys,

Ok, I'm giving thought to a receiver for my room at home and given I already have the panny plasma + pioneer dvd cinema kit from yerselves, why not get the AV box too!

What I have is a 360 hooked up via hdmi to my tv.

The pioneer set is the DCS-370 5.1 - hdmi from that to the tv.

I can connect the 360 to the pioneer set using some cables that came with the xbox but I only get 2.1 sound from them.

What I'm hoping for is a receiver that will let me plug in both the xbox/pioneer dvd into it via 2*HDMI then I guess a single HDMI out to the panny plasma.

Q - will this setup work?

Q - will I get full 5.1 from the pioneer set when using the 360 with this setup?

Q - if not, can you recommend a setup that will work?!!

oh! and a receiver that will work! :)

    thanks

    hi guys,

    onkyo 507 + a hdmi + a optical cable.

Maybe a nice set of 5.1 speakers to accompany it but I might end up with just the amp for now.

    sorry guys,

stuff in work popped up in the last hour and as such my HE equipment is on the back burner.
