Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know, you'd think that, but with so many championships drawing to a close and news about 2010 changes to calendars, new drivers etc. there's any amount of things to write about ;)

Whilst I appreciate your enthusiasm, there's any number of sites out there that rely on aggregating material and producing it as copypasta. Perhaps if you could offer more by way of analysis or a different view, you could help differentiate yourself.

I considered such a project myself (although with more of a rallying bent) a couple of years ago and came to a couple of conclusions. Firstly, there's a lot of effort to keep it moving at the same pace as your competitors, you can't take a day off; wake up on Sunday morning with a hangover, you still have to produce "content".

Secondly, unless you're out there actually talking 1-to-1 with the people that matter, you're left with (1) press releases, (2) unsubstantiated internet scuttlebutt and (3) blatant plagiarism of the established and professional press.

Finally, there's money. You have your hosting costs and then the direct effort you put in. What can you get back? Google ads don't really cut it and direct sponsorship needs profile and the brass balls to go looking for it.

In summation, offer a different angle or present the content in a novel manner (I love Rallytwit these days), otherwise you're doomed to be copying and pasting mendacious press releases until you lose interest.
