Looking for venue in dublin city centre...suggestions?

    Looking to hire a venue for 150 or so people for a 21st in Dublin City centre, but heard a lot that pubs tend to hire out rooms for free, anyone know anywhere that fits that description? Heard about the Turk's Head and Messer Maguire's, anyone hired either or know of anywhere that does this? Particularly if they're not too strict on ID because really it's an 18th!

    hey the twisted pepper has a function room for free give them a ring, or check out their website..
    also D2 has a cool function room, its not free tho, but ask your guests to throw 3 euro each into a bucket at the door should cover the cost of the room with a bar, ya will all get free entry into D2 at the end of the night too if you want.. they wont supply a dj in either place tho i dont think...but thats easily sorted...ipod or sumtin...

    Upstairs in Burger King on O'Connell Street do private functions sometimes. You can have the whole top floor for yourself and your family.

    how is that helpful?

    op, wynns hotel on lower abbey street get a shed load of 18th birthday bookings, might be worth looking at them

    The top floor is al arge area so I suppose it would depend on what you're looking for. It was helpful enough. Many people have partys up there.
