nimbuzz , fring etc will that work if there isnt a sip client on phone

    Using Sip (voip calls) over Wifi

    Gf is upgrading her phone soon and would like to make SIP calls (either Skype or voipcheap.com) over Wifi. Will be upgrading thru three on relax 150 plan

    Can she get any phone that has Wifi (she has a Sony E in mind) or does she need to get a phone with Wifi AND some kinda of Sip client.

    If I install nimbuzz , fring etc will that work if there isnt a sip client on phone

    fring etc will still work if there's no SIP client.

    All it needs is either wifi connection for mobile internet connection.

    Although you can check if there's a version of fring available for whichever mobile model you are looking for.
