This is a lovely spot on a summers evening / night. Just watch the world go by.

Joy of Coffee in Temple Bar stays open late...and has the biggest range of hot chocolate I've ever seen!

Lemon Jelly, near the Italian restaurants behind the Jervis Centre also stays open til 11.

There aren't near enough late opening cafes in Dublin, imo

Do they? I could have sworn they closed earlier.

    That's great if they do.

They are definitely open til 10 every day. I think it's Wed - Fri they open til 11, though I'm not sure. I've ended up in there for coffee after the cinema a few times. I was so happy I found somewhere on the northside that stayed open late!:)
