I have just received a 1 month ban in TCD due to being a "Mr Markov"

I think the mod who banned me (Johnathan) is referring to markov chains but I don't think he actually knows what they are.

Why should I be banned because I decide to be grammatically verbose in a response, which in my opinion had a valid point?

    Harshly banned a petty reason.

Questioning a Mod decision is against this sites rules.

The Mod gave a warning to that effect. Yet vladglenin chose to ignore that warning and continued to question the Mod decision.
    Of course he was banned.
    Clear cut.

My issue is that I was banned. I have no opinion of vladglenins ban!

At least do you agree that 1 month is a fairly harsh punishment for this?

You were obviously banned for the same reason, questioning a mod in thread.

Yes, perhaps a month is long for a first offence, drop the Mod a polite PM and see if you can work something out.
I presume he had a reason for issuing a month for a first offence?

    No reason was given.

    Thanks for your time :)

As of yet Johnathan has not replyed to PMs.

Is it possible for another mod/admin to revoke/reduce the ban time as this is quite inconvienant for me

Johnathan has stopped replying to PMs and is being quite unreasonable to deal with.

Is it possible just to get the ban reduced by another mod?

I replied to your PM yesterday, and I replied to another one when I logged in today.

I am not sure what the issue is.
