Cavity wall insulation

Hi all,
Hope you can help me with a few questions. I'm getting my 28year old house cavity wall insulated. At the moment it has a 50mm empty cavity with 50mm dry-lined wall. I want to get the grant from sei and the following companies are in my area that do it which one would be the best for getting the lowest u-value and best coverage ?

There seems to be 2 types of insulation fibre and bead. Which one is the best ? Which company product would you go for? Any hints and tips with this type of insulation ?

I'm afraid its a difficult question to answer!
Do your homework, compare IAB cert u-values and put your own mind at ease.

Most people will have different opinions based on their own personal preferences.

Retro-fit has less options than new build. Google both products as both are extensively used in UK over a number of years. Both products depend on excellent installation - only as good as the installer on the day!

I take it you are from the monaghan area. I know meegan insulations and ohanlon insulation are two good companys I have not heard about the other companys but they are prob good to just have no experience with them. It would allso be worth while getting in contact with D.B Insulations if you want his number you can P.M me
