Looks like its gonna be wet and windy in most places on Saturday nite , good bit of rain to dampin down the oul bomfires!

    MET EIREANN :
SATURDAY will continue mild and breezy. It will be mostly dry with bright or sunny spells. A few showers may develop near west and northwest coasts. On SATURDAY NIGHT, very windy and very wet weather will spread from the west bringing heavy falls of rain and strong southerly winds with some severe gusts.

HAPPY TRICK OR TREATIN IN THE RAIN!

Have been watching this for a few days. All areas are in for some heavy rain, but places south of a line from Limerick to North Wexford could get some particularly heavy falls. Should pass pretty quickly though because of the high winds.

Looks like well over 2 inches of rain with this system on Saturday night along with the potential of severe winds.
    One to watch closely tomorrow

As it stands, the latest models(ECM in particular) are showing an average of 25mm of rain falling over the country on Saturday night/sunday morning with the south potentially getting twice as much while the north could be much drier. No doubt much chops and changes will occur on the models before this system arrives, but at this stage it looks that winds will not be a significant feature of this "storm system" here in Ireland, but again, that could change closer the time. :)
