Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fajitas with his piano

Here's another from Fajita's squat in London. I went for the same vintage stlye processing seeing as it was such a hit with the last picture I posted. Again Fajitas is looking quite relaxed despite his harsh surroundings.

    ... double post lag.

    Yes it does happen.

He seems lost in this picture and that's saying something after seeing his ample belly.
I still love that table and chairs though!
Not as mad on this one but that was to be expected as the other one was such a high standard.
Are you sure you're not just there to take pictures of his gaff for him to flog it to potential buyers? :P

All that marble is a bit OTT isn't it lads? Would have expected more Scandinavian pine and black leather furniture from you guys.

Like the photo, hate the grain. It's really distracting.

I added the grain in especially. Some people I've shot for in the past have liked it and I thought it works well especially with the sepia toning for that aged look.

I agree with the grain, it is few and far between that would go for grain as a choice and only with some images, I dont think it suits here, but I do like the rest of the processing. Does Fajitas like it?

Get rid of the bum. He's bringing down resale value!

You'd think with the money he put into the gaff that he'd have put the ventilation grills at low level in the skirting, instead of having them at ceiling level, causing a visual distraction.

Have to agree with elven. Curtains are a bit OTT. Not in keeping with the decorum at all.

Other than that I find the impression a bit flat, very 2D. :p

I like the hovering marble coffee table on Liberace's right. It's space age.

You've obviously never been down and out (like poor Al) in London.

I love these pics though Id like to see him collapsed in a heap on that piano, with a load of empty dutch gold cans all over the place and a half eaten burger mashed into the floor. And maybe a little bit of puke stain on the suit. Classy.

Actually, he looks like he's after giving that lecture again ... "How a mouse can destroy your photographs".

I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but ... Sorry Pete if you'd attended the lecture first you might understand. :P

Keep spreading the word Al ..

As far as I'm concerned you made a complete balls of the vignetting. This is more what you should have been aiming for:

As almost all young and unknown artists, you should begin giving personal lessons of your art to young rich kids who's parents want to compensate their own inabilities on their heirs ;)

For a split second I thought the thread said Fajitas and his pimp. So imagine my disappointment when I saw the piano.
