Vampy, not sure where you would pick up a pair as I know the costume shop on Ellen Street is out in terms of going there.

Maybe the magic shop on Mallow street might have something?

Failing that try Shaws or the like for cheap gloves.

Try Heatons party shop on childers road or the one in the parkway? Otherwise I'd say try razzle dazzle in arthurs quay shopping centre.

It was a pity it closed down :(
But that made me think, the Edge in the market might have a pair!

Modesty has an advertisement in this weeks Post newspaper page 38.
    saying Now open foxes bow!

Years ago it was a great place. Sold Levi's Jeans with buton fly 2nd hand cheaply
when they were too expensive for meer Mortals to pay full price. They sold combats and long leather jackets all for great prices.

Then they got mean! opened up 3 shops and all of a sudden anything 2nd hand disappeared and was replaced by WAAAyyy overly priced products. anything for men seemed to disappear and it seemed to sell stuff for women only.

Then shop in cruises street closed, the William street shop
may be closed so maybe its going back to its roots
    in fox's bow.

Yer Man in the edge always came across as a wee bit nuts! he told me before years ago that he travels around
the place and deals with seconds! where clothing fails
quality control checks from manufactures and he buys
it nice and cheap. so can sell stuff to customers for good prices. At one time in Limerick it was the shop to goto if you wanted a cheap leather jacket.

Seriously? I didn't read the paper today, honestly, thanks for pointing it out, it used to have lovely stuff before.

The Edge is good, but like, I'm going in so many years I get a discount sometimes, but I haven't bought clothes in there for years over the sizes are kinda small and I'm a big mama deluxxxe XD. Yeah my brother used to always get his jackets there. He's mad in there he tells his wife I'm having an affair with him and I'm like "yeah I'm his hoochy mama and we're gonna adopt your son" and she laughs for ages.
