type of felt to use at ends of hollowcore slabs

    Hi there,we are going putting down are concrete slabs on are house next week.We were advised by are BER asseror to wrap the the ends of the slabs with felt to help seal the gap between the block and the slab.I not sure what type of felt to use.Could anyone give me names or details in what to use.Thanks

    Use Solitex. Its airtight and tear resistant as the slabs are moved into place. Consider putting a mortar bed on top of the solitex to heap stop it getting torn. Then fix to the wall below the slabs with mesh and plaster over. Totally airtight hollowcore slabs.
