I'm now thinking of getting a clear front panel for my TE. Something like in the pics below. I love the idea of seeing the inside, especially since the TEasy mod is so neat.

If I do go ahead with it, i'll have a 6 button standard TE plexi top for sale!

My fist would be through that inside a day!!

How in the Name of lord suffering Jesus do you get the start/select buttons out of a TE.

I nearly broke my heart and my TE last night trying to do it.
Any special method? I was just trying to get to the tabs with a flat screw driver using my fat fingered hands but no joy.

I rotated the buttons so that one tab was at the top and one was at the bottom. Then got a knife in between the tab and top of the case to get some leverage to pop the tab while pushing the button to get one side out. Should be easy enough after that, but it sounds like that's basically what you are doing.

They are really ****ing annoying, it took me longer to get them out than taking out all the other buttons and replacing them.

Yeah same I just used two really small flathead screwdrivers turned them and popped them. It was real fiddly alright.

I better not go home and find out you've cannablised my TE stick for parts for your own stick again you tramp.

Daves' fat sausage fingered modding shop was in full swing last night.

Hey anyone know (Kikki) what size quick disconnects I need to order for Happ buttons

    I know Sanwa use .110 but I'm unsure whether I need .250's or 187's.

see pics below comparing sanwa qd's to the bigger size of the ones I need

    4.7mm (0.187") female spade terminals.

Dunno how many I have in my shed, but I doubt it's enough for 2 sticks & 16 buttons.
You'll need 48 of these, so I suggest the eBay link above.

Also, I have a crimping tool in case you need to borrow one.

    Hi lads,

Im looking into dual modding my ps3 stick (as its new) and just wondering does anyone here do it (for cash :D) or can anyone put me in contact with someone who does. I know this is the harder of the two to dual mod but my 360 stick is in bits and i dont want to buy another one when i have the ps3 one there.

Ive been on srk and didnt find it that helpful as im not up to date on the names of the parts or knowledgeable with this kind of stuff in general.

In essence i just wana pay someone to do it for me.

Thanks guys for any info you can give me.

    Namco stick mod.

Stock buttons & stick (except for 1 new switch)
    Triple-modded with PS360 board.

The USB is (probably) temporary until I can get a Neutrik.
    Extra button is Home/Guide.

That PS360 is from the pre-order batch, I'll see if I can get info on PS360+ release.

I'm guessing he's facing more than a few disruptions.
