nice work. in #1, the edge of the plate is a bit distracting. #2 doesn't appear to have the sharpness of #1 and #3, while #3 looks really good.

No treatment, food came direct from the chefs, it was for a competition so I had to record what they looked like! All the food was tated, altough not by me!

technically perfect - but as you may follow I like imperfections such as life - its like those images in a fast food restaurant on the wall - they look amazing , but when you order it and get "the food" it looks greasy and nothing like whats on the wall - thats what i like - reality - respect we all have different tastes just like music - the world would be boring if we all liked the same things

That is a good point Baz, in this instance the food did look like this but the chefs had 90 mins to produce 2 portion of 2 courses, would it look the same on a busy saturday night with 120 covers in the restaurant? It was also taken under studio lights, I have shot what I call food action shots from within a busy kitchen and the results were a lot grittier.
