Free MS Points??

Anyone else get the email as past of the preview programme to watch the Zune movies? Apparently if you download Benjamin Button on Saturday and State of Play on Sunday and then leave feedback to Microsoft they'll credit you with 1200 free points!

Of course the catch is you have to pay for the movies first... :rolleyes:

Anyone participating??

Just checked, has to be the HD version, 540 points each, leaving a profit of 120 MSPoints!!!

Actually, it's legit alright. Got the same mail & looked into it on the Preview forums.

Nice idea & all, but dunno if I could stay awake during Benjamin Button.

It's legit and you only need to download one of the movies, so technically, you get 660 points free after you do the survey.

Got the same email. I'll give it a go all right, but not for Benjamin Button, its total and utter trash.

Will be watching State of Play on sunday night then.

From the look of it, you have to rent the movies using your own points and complete the survey in the mail (if you have a problem) and you receive 1200 MS Points for completing the survey

Interesting in the mail was that they also mentioned

In addition, if you're looking for other free content, as mentioned on other threads you should be able to view The Guild and the 30 Rock sneak preview for free.

Could that be hinting at more TV content finally arriving? Or should we all just stick with the Sky Player now that it's working?

We regret to inform you that we have discontinued the offer of 1200 Microsoft Points for completing the “Zune video streaming” error reporting survey. We appreciate your continued feedback during the testing process and can’t wait to bring the full service to you in November.
Movie night is still taking place this weekend and there will be a wide variety of movies available for rental during the Preview period. Please note that you will need to use Microsoft Points to rent these movies.
Even though the 1200 Microsoft Points offer is no longer available, we look forward to your continued participation in the Xbox LIVE Update Preview Program.

I was actually going to do it just to get the extra points for free. But that's that out the window.
