Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just thinking about it - not surprised the club kept quiet about the swine flu thing - besides bringing a lot more unneeded media attention on things, it would have been a bit of a boost to Fulham's morale if they had known before-hand.

Bagging the 3 points here would be a great result given the circumstances.

Giving voronin the assist is ermmmmmmm, a bit 'fresh' dont ya think?, he headed to nobody, hit fulham player on the chest and it popped to torres.

Hes practically a passenger out there. I expect him to come off, move benny into gerrards role and bring babel on.

    yea , makes sense daithijjj

I think they'll push on and win it from here. Fulham have threatened little.

    1-3, Dirk and Benayoun..

I was being generous it true! Anyway as we can all see what needs changing I'm sure thats what will happen at 60 mins in +/- 2 mins.

Aye, it virtually impossible to predict rafa though. Incidentally, i hate this grey screen :)

Seen em given before...but probably wasn't a penalty. Zamora went looking for it

If he wasn't English he'd have a lot more red cards to his name I think.

    What the hell?! Torres off!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,588 ✭✭✭daithijjj

The worst thing about that substitution is that it will probably give fulham more of a lift than us. How the fk voronin stays on when we need a goal il never know. And another thing, if babel doesnt win this game for us now he will get the brunt of the abuse, having said that he did get the assist for benny here last season in the dying seconds.

Didn't look like a fitness or injury issue to me the way he was running off.

daithijjj you did say Babel would come on , but we didnt think it woul be Torres going off , strange ??????

I'm now hoping for a draw.

There's no indication that it was a injury issue. Torres shook his head coming off, ran off cleanly, and stayed in the dug out. If he was injuried it would have been straight to teh physio.

It's clearly a resting issue, for the CL game midweek. With Gerrard out, he needs Torres on top form. He's gambling with this game to ensure you get out of the group stages in the CL.

If it works out, it's great rotation. Liverpool should have enough to win this as it is. If it fails, it's on him.

I mean he's only back from a muscle injury so the doctors probably advised 60 mins or so, regardles of whether torres wants to stay on or not

Was blatantly a substitution ahead of the champions league but i still dont like it. No point beting united one week and dropping points the next weekend.

    EDIT........bollix.
