Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was wondering if I could ask a quick question. Does anyone know what number bus I would get to get to leesons street/dartmouth street D 6 from Dalkey? I have looked at the Dublin Bus website but just totally confused..?

Also can I get a dart from Dalkey to near there or is tara street nearest?

    Thanks in advance.

You could get the DART to Grand Canal Dock and walk from there. It would be about 15mins stroll.
Alternatively, you could get the DART to Dun Laoghaire and get the 46A.
You could alternatively get the 8 as far as the canal where Haddington Road intersects Northumberland Road and then stroll down the canal

59 to Dun Laoghaire and then 46a to Leeson Street, or 7 to Northumberland Road and walk from there.

Alternatively, DART to Grand Canal Dock and walk from there.

    59 timetable is at: http://www.dublinbus.ie/en/Your-Journey1/Timetables/All-Timetables/59/

The 7D could also be an option for you. It leaves Dalkey at 7.35am and heads into town via the N11 so would drop you exactly where you need to go. There is one evening departure from OConnell St to Dalkey, via Leeson St and N11 at 17.42.

I'd guess at 40 to 50 minutes for the trip from Dalkey to Leeson St Bridge and about the same on the return journey. It's a Dublin Bus service and you can view the timetable here..
