TBH, as far as shameless rip-offs go, that doesn't look half-bad. The animation is good, the frame rate seems solid, the art design is bizarre but endearingly mad. Opening video's a bit much though.

It might play like ****, and I haven't quite figured out why the **** Mario is there, but it's at least oddly watchable.

Yeah afaik it is, the second link the the YT video works I just tried it there. You go to the middle tab there's (O) the second one (K) is to change the controls.
There's a karate guy who does hadouken and a throw but makes a Zangief noise

That pub with the Arcade cab in Thomas st (the one bomoidol posted about here).Couple of Nomads lynxes and gamegears and we're laughing.

I was rocking a high flat top.
I had more hair back then and it was/is very wiry, and could stand into afro styles without recourse to gel etc.
So I wound up with a high top fade and lines trimmed into the sides and back, I had an ECG trace once, looked tres cool on a nurse, let me tell you!
Also had the following
High top basketball shoes, Nike Air Flight Lites are very nice.
Day Glo T-shirts
Naff Naff jackets, in primary colours, I had one in blue and another in green.
Fluorescent baseball caps.
Hawaiian shirts of every hue.
Bermuda shorts of every hue too!

In my walkman, Aiwa natch, was

People pay good money for t-shirts and jeans with holes in them these days. I usually ask the cashier why do they only sell damaged clothes and tshirts with names of surf clubs and sports teams nobody has ever heard of on them.
