Not sure about this weekend, or the next, I'm thinking closer to the middle/end of August tbh, will report back when permission is given.

We have had some good nights here, the Christmas one was great and I do remember an epic one when there must have been 14 people turning up, brilliant stuff, although the gamesroom floor may not have taken the pressure!

Ahhh sorry, burned out after a day's work. Brain work is good not now.

Anyway yeah I get you now, their constantly taking advantage of people 'ever changing market' pricing.

True... true... They're still decent enough on Dreamcast stuff though so that does me. They also let the odd gem sell for really cheap on Vinyl too so that works for me.

Yeah its their 'reason' for not posting prices online, apparently the prices fluctuate too much. Still, by having off the cuff prices your chances of roasting someone are higher so whatever works for them.

Doesn't make much of a difference imo, it doesn't run full screen in 60hz either and the turbo setting kinda negates the slowness. Would prefer if it was NTSC too of course...

I'll go one worse - I heard about a SF2 tourney on in Katie's on Bray seafront.

Went along for the craic, but refused to play when I saw what it was.

Not a Snes, no, even worse - one of those all-in-one game units which you plug directly into the TV.

And that's not the end of it, it was a Megadrive all in one unit. With a THREE BUTTON PAD.

Remember the horror of that?

It's just a boss rush game. there's nothing else to it. It's really limited. Also it's based on the older Darius games and Darius was rubbish until Darius Gaiden... Fact.

You're all in denial! Darius is the original and best! Nothing is ever quite the same in terms of the original elder shooting games after you've played Darius and Darius II the way they were meant to be played, in their proper, original cabinets in a Japanese arcade with posters of King Fossil on the walls.

Gradius came first and Darius was just a poor Gradius clone which tried to make up for the lack of a decent power up system with gimmicky fish bosses and a wide screen.

Podcast should be fun
