Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where is this happening again? Ciderman's gaff?

I'll be at MCM Comic Con that day and hopefully will be socialising with people later that night. Avatan would you be passing through town to get to Ciderman's place by any chance?

If not then no big deal.

I'd love to head along but am not sure about transport. (mainly getting home in the evening!)

Anyone know if Johnny Ultimate is going? Might be able to sort something out with him if he is.

I will also be at Comic Con, Cidonalad will be dressing as a headcrab zombie scientist from Half Life, my niece is going as Chell, Portal gun and all.
Sadly I will be Gordon Freeman on his day off, I'm not carrying a crowbar around all day!

Well if you happen to see The Doctor and River (cowboy versions from The Day Of The Moon) then come and say hi! :-)

I'm considering going too, but in the same boat myself. I'll have to be a terrible lift scab yet again (:(), and would need to be back in the city centre for one of the night links!

Oddest reusing of molding plates I've ever seen. Still can't believe it's real.

Would be excellent if someone bought one and re purposed it back into a Jaguar :D

I'll be heading along to the Comic Con on Saturday too, might bump into some of you there.

I wonder has a dentist ever become confused and tried to check someone's teeth with a Jaguar controller.

It would brighten me up no end to be able to play Tempest 2000 during a root canal.
That said, I'd be in some distress if they I insisted that I play AvP instead, that Retrogaming forum favourite ;)

Me too. I'm going for three (actually four) main reasons:

    1. Danny John Jules
    2. Hattie Hayridge
    3. I saw a poster for it in a bus shelter and a Rising Star Games stand was visible. Not exactly an indication that they or anything interesting gaming-wise will be there, but worth a shot.
    4. Hannah Spearritt. I had no idea who she was, but when looking up the spelling of Hattie's name a second ago I saw a picture of her.

Not that I'm paying 15-20 quid to meet any of them

Just remember, the real action is at mine that evening, the Comic Con is just prelude to the sights and sounds of the return of the DDR dance off between Retr0 and Atavan, steady on girls, one of them is taken!

Warwick Davis!!! It would be worth the €20 for a photo with him!

Considering that there was no charge for photos or autographs with guests at Kaizoku Con I'm a bit unwilling to spend any cash at MCM.

Apart from possibly getting an autograph from The Cat.

I did order a bluray copy of Red Dwarf X for this reason alone.

I've always thought paying for autographs at conventions is one of the most bizarre side-effects of the hyper-fandom that dominates pop culture these days. I find it amazing people would pay that much (or that much multiple times) to get a signature and generic greeting from anyone, but at the same time can't really begrudge the signees and organisers from making some cash from what seems like a rather lucrative little niche.

In other news, looks like I might be able to make Saturday night after all thanks to the ever-generous Atavan :)

Oh, and I have found a bag of ass flavoured crisps, otherwise known as Guinness Crisps, especially for O1s1n, those, the Candy and some Dodonpachi and he should be gameball.

    "EXACTLY"

Here's a bag of coke I shared a few lines of with Craig Charles, any chance of you signing it?
Now, if you had a programme from Cats.... You're probably in the wrong forum...

When I get paid I'm totally buying this, even though it'll be well after MCM. That's amazing... I can't believe that went into the charts.

Are you up in the big smoke or at home?
Can I convince Retr0 to make an appearance anyways?
