Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'll consult with She Who Must Be Obeyed, then confirm the 16th.

I have consulted with Mrs Ciderman and the 16th of August is a go, if people are interested.
I have no Arcade though, damn you Urban!

I dont have much in the way of retro but have some arcade!
It'd have to be before the summer ends tho as my house is embarrassingly cold during the winter:(

I'd definitely be up for that:pac:

Yea I've a few spare beds and some floor. There's a bus stop to Dublin just beside my place too. 30/40 mins to the city.
Think it's super. Believe it or not, not all of us users are in Dublin

I'm going to head up on the 16th, if you can get your arse over to the northside you're good for a lift. Still leaves three empty seats in the car. Any sign of Sparks? I haven't heard anybody say Boulderdash in a while.:p

Is there a date for the Naas beers?

I was tempted to join in there but I'm in work at the minute.

I almost did a Google search for 'gay gif'.

....I think it's best that I decided against it.

Hmm, steady on boys and girls.

I'm anxious that the two proposed Beers don't clash or mess with each other.
Can Urban tell me when he proposes to have his.
Then we can make sure they are both well attended

Can the theme be terrible Superman games that aren't Superman 64? Which is essentially every Superman game ever made.

A lot of unplanned 'real life' stuff going on at the moment I'm afraid which has been distracting me from these parts :(

It's actually quite jarring to log on for the first time in a good while and see so many new posts!

Definitely still want to host one in the new place sometime in the near future.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,063 ✭✭✭Doge

    Good to hear from you!

Big career path change going on with myself at the moment also.

I'm really looking forward to your beers in particular, with the arcade stuff going on, and wanted to meet up with you in particular for ages!

Probably click with you the most on here!

Real life stuff can be rough alright, don't I know it.
Well hope you and yours are OK, and everything with your new home is working out.
Or has there been a Serf uprising and now you have to make your own poached eggs of a morning?

So after an adverts seller giving me the cold shoulder with a Gameboy Advance SP,
and the high price of an AGS-101 I've decided to emulate the games on my phone using the awesome GBC.emu emulator for android for gameboy colour games.

So today I tried to unlock the Bootloader on my Moto G which is necessary for rooting so I can use a PS3 controller attached using that smart clip I just ordered.

Only to be told by the Motorola page that my device is not eligible for bootloader unlocking,a dreaded message quite a lot of Moto G users are getting even though most get the code fine for the same model.

I reckon the problem is to do with their system for giving out the code.

Man do I hate technology sometimes. :(

Buy a DS Lite with a borked top screen & do the GBA mod on it.

Ah ****e, i meant to post it in the general thread.

Thanks for the link to myrddin.

Managed to get my bootloader unlocked now, their server was actually down until 9pm even though it gave the "your device does not qualify" message.

Why it doesnt show a "server error" message is beyond me.
