Cineworld charge the same into Classics as they do for all films.

If you have an Unlimited Card, they are free.
..are they only showing in cineworld dublin?

Classic films are shown most cinemas now, you just have to keep an eye out for them.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,439 ✭✭✭Skinfull

They can't show BeetleJuice yet! They have to show Commando first!
    ...or did I miss it?

Saw this tonight despite the nasty head cold of doom I thoroughly enjoyed it! Kids at the front loved it and danced al the way through, kids at the back "ewwww'd" during the Kinikie and Rizzo kissing bits :D But hell if it wasn't a good time. More please.

...is it bad form to quote yourself?

I decided not to go at the last minute and went to see Eleanor Tiernan instead, bad move :o

So the sing-a-long is good craic even if your not taking part?

Good to know, extremely shy person here :p

Is the lyrics on screen like Karaoke?

I saw it last time in cineworld, incredible experience, it was the original cut so there were the little problems and marks on the film but my god its so powerful nothing could take away from that!

the score in full cinema surround is spectacular!

I saw it last time as well. It should be a requirement that all cinemas should show it at least once a month!

Is the screen a good cinema tech-wise? I've never been in it but from the outside it looks pretty dated and that it couldnt compete with the screens or capacity of other cinemas. Now that my cineworld card is expired I might go there since o2 treats have a weekly €4 voucher for 'em

Thanks for the tip, going to this tonight :D

Quick question, booked the tickets online, there's 5 of us going. Is it open seating and if so, what time do you think we should be heading in at to sit together? Is it likely to be full?

No idea if the seating is open or not, would have said GA Seating when booking your tickets if it was though.

I'd say be heading into the screen at 8.30 for the better seats if it is.

    Enjoy :)

It's probably general admission (i.e. open seating). At least the last few classic films i've seen in Cineworld are. I'll be going either tonight or tomorrow, hopefully with a girl i work with. Scarface is a good film for a 1st date, isn't it? :P
