Over the past while there has been quite a few threads on Classic movies. Classic Films Returning To Cineworld Any cinema showing classic films? Some classic movies back in cinemas!! Universal Movie Screenings! Eventually, each thread seems to subside and I think it's because each thread focuses on Classics from one angle…

The Lighthouse is in the middle of a 1999 season. Some of the upcoming films that caught my eye are:
Sunday 28 July – Magnolia
Thursday 01 August – Election
Saturday 10 August – The Matrix
Saturday 31 August – Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai
Friday 30 August – The Terminator*
Saturday 14 September – Trainspotting
*I don’t know how The Terminator fits into the 1999 theme.

I also see that the IFI are currently screening The Conversation 50th Anniversary 4k Restoration
I haven’t seen The Conversation in about 25 years and I forget most of the plot but I remember it being a good film.
