Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey all.

I've a question that's most likely going to be ridiculous to those of you who know what you're doing with DSLRs, but it's driving me up the walls.

I'm using an Olympus E420, and I'm not really that knowledgeable about DSLRs settings or anything as I haven't had much chance to use the camera (will most likely do a course eventually) so I tend to stick to Auto when I'm using the camera in a decently-lit place.

My problem is the auto focus on the camera. It refuses to focus on whatever I want it to focus on. I went into the options but wasn't sure what I needed to change, so i didnt really touch anything incase I made a bigger balls of everything.

I don't have the manual or anything with me at the moment, so i was just wondering if there's some kind of universal camera button or option i can use that will allow me to reset or adjust the camera's autofocus?

Cheers to anyone able to help. The bride and groom are really getting impatient with me. :(

    :)

(That last line is sarcasm by the way. I just thought it was hilarious when I thought of it.)

What focus point is selected? Is it using a single point, or all points? If it's all points, that may explain why it does not focus on what you want. You should have an option to manually select a focus point.

    Give it a try.
