Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

AnCatDubh, what time suits you tomorrow, 2pm? Same place as before in Temple Bar?

Anyone else coming along? I'm happy to bring a tripod, gorillapod and the Fed5 (about 15 shots left on the roll) if needs be.

Hey - they look great guys.

Thank you all so much for making the effort and coming out. It would have been a lonely night in the cinema for me if ye hadn't so I really appreciate it.

Great to see some new faces too and some from the film meet as well.

I won't get to look at mine until tonight. I'm off shortly to meetup with Liam as per above, so if anyone's about you are more than welcome.

Hopefully i'll get at least one from last night to display here up to the standard. I'm nervous now.

I could always claim that the film in my dSLR didn't load properly couldn't i?

So who's going to tell the forum about the slight security incident in the IFSC???? ;)

Or should we hold that to ourselves ;p

    Thanks again folks.

Well one thing I did learn was that it is going to take a lot more practice / and patience, to get night shooting right, which is coded speak for "I'll be needing to get out and do it again". There was a lot more rubbish than I thought there would be in my resulting shots / some were ok, but more practice needed most definitely.

I think in about two weeks time I'll probably be in a similar situation with an evening to kill while i'm waiting for the young uns so I may well put a shout out to the forum again and see if anyone is interested in an evening stroll about town. More nearer the time.

Funny you should mention, I was just discussing my children's social calendar at lunchtime today (it's gas when their social calendar is more important than mine) and it looks like next Thursday is a distinct possibility to do a rerun for me - same time available to me that evening as last time.

I'm thinking this time there will be some nice Christmas lights to find so shopping areas might be part of the plan.

Medium term weather on SlidingInfinity's weather link looks cold, cloudy and dry (yes I did say dry!) for Thursday evening so perhaps lets keep an eye - it may be good enough for us.

I'll start a new expedition thread shortly and lets see how many are about for it.
