WNWIM agreements amongst ie boards members

I currently have WNWIM agreements with John Butler, MMII etc and other ie boards members that are in my leagues. The benefits are obvious:

    1. More in-game training.

    2. Preserving of energy.

    3. Preserving of LTNT worth.

The only set-back so for to me seems to be that games with both players playing WNWIM tend to be low scoring, and thus without bonus points.

Regardless, more WNWIM agreements between boards ie members is something I strongly suggest for the benefit of all of us.

    Don't tell MMII this. ;)

This is beside the point if both teams were going to play LTNT anyway. In such a situation, it makes sense to just play WNWIM.

You know that if you play TNT you will win so you are trying to find a way where you still win but play WNWIM:D

    Don't deny it

Yes, but the logic still applies to both the loser and the winner. If you are going to lose, is it not better to lose playing WNWIM rather then LTNT?

He has a chance to make you waste your TNT while he plays WNWIM!!!

Regarding it being illegal, its not, because the rules don't disallow WNWIM agreement.

Regarding it being unethical, I don't think it is on three grounds - (A) WNWIM agreements amongst friends is a well-known and accepted phenomenon amongst Blackout Rugby users, (B) other users in the league could, or are at least capable of, entering into WNWIM agreements amongst themselves, thus we aren't recieving an unfair advantage whilst (C) if one was to be cynical, we may argue its best to assume others are entering into WNWIM agreements, and to ensure we aren't left behind, do so ourselves.

That wouldn't be a waste as such, as I would defintely gain a bonus point. :D

Of course, if he did want to do that, his option is very clear - don't enter into the WNWIM agreement. Very simple. ;)

I've never had that problem. Its logical to play WNWIM, if a person cheats he loses the option of entering into more WNWIM agreements.

    TBH PI forum here :D:D

But yes the WNWIM agreement is very beneficial for both sides if they were going to TNT it anyway, and as Orizo says if a team breaks it we will all know as I trust it shall be notified here....!!

We can have a name and shame policy regarding cheaters. People need to mark opposition players energy before and after games.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,238 ✭✭✭Gelio

    Ok I agree to it

    No. ;)

I'll be playing the bulk of them WNWIM anyway - but that may have to change for the last couple of games. Its better for individual teams to agree amongst themselves on a game by game basis imo.

Ok, I'm in too. By my reckoning in Pool 2 Polk High, Geraldine RFC and Stab County and MMII (me) have agreed. Waiting to hear from the Wanderers and Yerman. If I'm wrong please correct me.

    Killarney RFC

    Philosophers
    Cooloorc

If any these teams are on here and want to do a WNWIM agreement, men who stare at goats are up for it.let me know.......

Not too sure about pool-wide WNWIM agreements for the BIE Cup... I mean, most people will probably play at that intensity anyway but the choice between the cup, the league, the BIE cup... it all adds to the craic.
