    temp is -1.1c here and is dropping !:) as the fog comes in thicker and thicker now i cant even see my next door neigbours tree not even an outline!

    Drizzle in Bray but 3 dramatic lightning strikes about 8 or 9 miles to the south. Streetlights went out for a few seconds. Looks like an electricity pylon or substation got hit or something.

    ive found the same as well the met eire rainfall radar is very un accurate. The UK met offices seems the best but the detail on ireland is to low scaled!

    1.8c here and cloudy now in Mayo, near claremorris. Was down to -2.8c at one point last night.

    What a classic Low over the Bristol Channel just now. I'm looking at http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/satpics/latest_IR.html

    In Waterford temps are up from yesterday's low of 2.2C at 6 am. Currently 6C wind gusting 20 knots from the north. Barometer 985 rising.
