Best of October...

We haven't had one of these for a while so just an opportunity to show again some of your most liked / best / personal favourites from the last month.

Feel free to post a personal favourite and a pix.ie / flickr / your blog = popular favourite. Yes, we may have already seen them but sure what the heck.... We're photographers and we like to show off our work in as many ways as possible.

For me; I liked the month of October; with some street stuff and apart from some Neopan 400 not wanting to be exposed I do like what I got on some Fuji Superia at the boards photography forum film meetup;

I took very few images last month. This is my favourite. While waiting for the traffic to clear, the shot was taken on a very dark evening in the Mountjoy Square playground.

This is mine, simply because it was after we had finished the shoot, and while i was packing stuff up i spotted him tearing the latex off of his hand.

The first is one from last week for which I got a TOTD over on pixie.
The second I re-shot the other day for the boards challenge, which while it might not be everyones taste, I'm much happier with the effect.

Went to Marley Park to take photos of the fireworks but later found out I didn't know what I was doing. However I did manage to get this one on the walk through the park. Slightly disappointed with the focus on the face, but I love the colours, the lights and the movement of the people.

This was one of my personal favourites partly because of the circumstances in which it was taken. I got a good laugh out of it especially as I don't even like horses!

Although not taken in Oct. I avoided doing anything with it when I took it as I wasn't confident about doing landscapes so left it well alone but someone noticed it on a disc and got me to do a little work on it. Glad I did as I like it now, bit more confident too I suppose.
