Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

    I am looking for someone with a lot of portrait experience to demonstrate the art of portraiture in my camera club in North County Dublin next Monday (9th) and two weeks later (23rd)?

    The first session is to look at how to take portrait photos on a theoretical level with examples of what to do and what not to do. The 2nd session then on the 23rd is for a practical night with lights, backgrounds etc. If you have these that would be great. If not I can arrange them.

    I had a photographer lined up but he had to pull out due to work committments. Each session is for 1.5 hours. On the first night though I am going to suggest people bring examples of their portraits for you to look at tell them where they are going wrong.

    Have a look a Paul Timon's Gallery

    I do not know if he is available but he is very good.

    Which Club is it?
