Hang your god damned heads. disgraceful. Chelsea will be rubbing their hands in glee at this type of performance. Not good enough, shamefull.

Ah come on Mitch, there will be at least 5 changes from this team on Sunday, bit of optimism

He was in a perfect position to see it. And if he didn't see it then the linesman should've.

    Shambles.

United have had more than enough chances to be ahead. CSKA have been more clinical, simple. Our bad defending hasn't helped.

That was a lovely strike from Scholesy.

I would of been a happy happy man if scholesy scored that!

Utd strenght in depth theory out the window. Valencia, Nani have been awfu. Macheda looks out of his depth, but drvice from midfield has been non exixtant. Maybe Ferguson looking to to lul Chelski into a false sense of security;)

why, this is one game against a second seed CL team that United have basically played their second team for apart from Fletch, Valencia and now Rooney and Evra. They have been just as good as CSKA but have been unlucky a few times especially with the penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,288 ✭✭✭✭ntlbell

awsome from rooney forced that back and won posession without toching the ball from his own box.

Not one bad game, there have been many average performances by UTDstandards only to get late goals. I was only pointing out the lack of quality in depth. Should have had a pen that would have changed the course of the game also.

Cant use sopcast and the only other stream is in the first half :D

So I gather United are just doing poor defending and not finishing their chances then? If we loose this, what game is next up? I never looked as foolishly I thought we would get with at least a draw and not a heavy defeat!

I think you need to have a think about what the phrase means.

your a bit confused me thinks.

sorry, I'm lost. You are talking about strength in depth which I would presume means bench/second tier players and now you are talking (incorrectly) about first team performances. What's your point?

A home game to Besiktas is next up. Would fancy United to take 3 points there. United will still top the group by 2 points assuming CSKA and Wolfsburg win tonight.

Is it not a squad game now? I was simply pointing out that both UTD 1st 11 and there squad players have not performed to their high standards this season. The squad players tonight have performed poorly. It looks like their strength in depth looks light now.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 32,865 ✭✭✭✭MagicMarker

To be fair, CSKA will be fully deserving of this if they win.
