Date for Wicklow Way Ultra

Guys, Anyone able to estimate the date for the wicklow way ultra. I see the date this year was 11 April but this is the date of the connemarathon 2010. Seems strange that two races clash when there's so few longer events.

IMRA calendar for 2010 is not yet published so that date is not definitive. Agree with you that it makes no sense to have a clash but sometimes they can't be totally avoided.

I think someone on here said 18th of April was the provisional date for it.

Traditionally it would have been around the 6th. The person with the final decision hasn't been elected yet. It's conemara that is causing the clash. The WWU has been around for much longer. Its an awful shame that they do clash alright, but these things happen.
