Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

shoot the odd wedding, have just sold my 30 & 40d and purchased a 5D Mark 2, looking for a second camera to go with it- was waiting for the 1d4 but the price is crazy! , so i have narrowed it down to a 1D mark 3 or a 7D, any opinions on which camera would be the best companion? does anybody own both?

I shoot Weddings full-time and use a 5d and a 1dmk3, the 1 series bodies are far above any of the 30/40/7/5d cameras. From what I have seen of the 7d at high ISO I wouldnt be too happy with it.

    my two cents anyway

I'd have to agree with Keith. Everyone told me that the 1D was the bees knees and to be honest I couldn't fathom how there could be that much of a difference between the 40D I had and a MkIII. I mean, they are both camera's, right!

Until I bought a MkIII. The difference is like night and day. I've had a go with the 7D as well and it's not even in the same parish as a 1D. There is a reason why the 1D is so much more expensive. But it's an outstanding camera and worth every penny if you can get a good deal. If you have the cash then get yourself one.
