    Two of the three vacante Senate seats will be filled on 14th December.

    The votes are such that Fianna Fail will be able to get two of their men/women onto the gravy train.

    Names mentioned include Eoin Ryan, Ebhlin Byrne, Maurice Ahern, Shay Brennan, Mary Fitzpatrick, Avril Power, Eamonn Walsh, and Jim O Callaghan.

    In times like these, surely the taxpayer, the PAYE worker, and the Dole queuer should get a small respite, and not have to fork over money to pay for another two people to sit in the useless upper house ?

    Amazing, the mad rush to fill seats in a worthless talking shop but a seat in the Dáil can be left vacant for more than a year.
