Transfer Favourites C510 to Nuvi255W

As per title, I have purchased a Nuvi255W today. Is there any way to transfer my favourite locations from the C510 to the new unit? Will I get a free update or anything when I get my new unit? The Nuvi255W would be out about 12 months now wouldn't it so the preloaded maps will presumably be out of date?
