Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

BIK on a new car vs second hand car

    Evening all,

At present my company gives us a new car every 4 years and we pay BIK on the book value of that car for the 4 years. The cars are provided through a lease company.

If I could get the lease company to provide me with a 1 or 2 year old car from an approved dealer, would I pay BIK on the book value of this car or the value that the lease company paid?

Obviously I am trying to get more car for my Euro.

    Thanks,

    Wavey.

Won't make a difference as unfortunately BIK is based on OMV(original market value) and not the second hand value.
