Hi, I am thinking about buying a pet snake but have a few questions. Im looking for one that won't grow much bigger than 2feet and is comfortable with being handled. What type of snake would you recommend? what is the cost of all the equipment needed, the snake itself and the maintenance (feeding etc)?

Maybe a male western hognose? A cornsnake would likely grow twice that size but would also make a great starter snake.
