Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't Sign Into Messenger

    On my 360, I can't sign into messenger. It signs into Xbox Live perfectly (I had my firewall on Low but I put it back to medium because it made no difference. That's on the newer Eircom netopia router by the way). Anyway games work a dream. Everything loads quickly and there's no lag. Or no noticeable lag at least. So there don't appear to be any connection issues. What happens is when I attempt to sign in on messenger, it gives me an error message saying "The password you have entered is no longer valid" or something similar. I think it might mention Windows Live ID? Anyway it's definitely the correct password. It's not too long either. It just won't sign in. Any suggestions?

    Check privacy settings. How old are you? As far as I know if you are under a certain age, not sure what, you can't use messenger on 360.

    My son is 13 and even though I have an adult account and allow all the various settings he still can't use messenger.

    There's supposed to be an error associated with creating the account before you're 18, but I have my doubts.
    What error message does that give paddyk?

    When I sign it is fine. When my son signs in on the same XBox it just says unable to connect to messenger orr something very similar.. He has a messenger account which he uses on the PC. I don't remember seeing an error message besides this.

    I will get him to check next time he is on.

    Same happens to me, but if you go into the IM options off the XBOX button menu, you can log in again, and it usually doesn't log you out again.

    Happened ages ago to me, and then fixed itself out of the blue. Now its back.
