Advice on producing school choir fundraising CD

    Hi All,
    General query here that some one might be able to help me with.

    I'm hoping to produce a CD for Christmas with my primary school choir with a view to selling it as a fundraiser through the school and local shops.

    Outside of the royalty side of things for the backing music which i've already addressed, is there anything I need to look into from a licensing, registration, tax etc point of view, especially if I was to put it on display in the local shops?

    Hopefully not, this is my first port of call so I'm hoping some one might have some advice.

    Apologies if this the wrong place to post, but I'm at a loss as to where to start!
