Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Roackband vs Guitar Hero

    Was thinkin of treatin myself to one of the guitar & drum packs when i noticed the huge price difference between the rockband and guitar hero packs.

    Whats the difference and is it worth the price difference.

    Also the rockband song choices seems way better.

    We have a secret guitar hero and rock band forum on boards ;)

    For my money Rockband 2 and the 45euro set from smiths, then rent steal or borrow RB1 and export another 80 songs from it into rock band 2 for a 5er for the license on xbox live.

    In terms of the set most are agreed the guitar hero drums are the better of the 2, and most prefer the guitar hero guitar. I actually prefer the rock band one personally.

    I'd have to agree so far ... Rock Band 2 is a much more fun game than Guitar Hero, but the instruments from Guitar Hero World Tour are that little bit better than the RB ones.

    Best way to do it is if you can get a cheap Guitar Hero pack with guitar or the full set, then trade the game in against a cheap copy of Rock Band 2. Best of both :)
