If You Have Trouble With A Voda Samsung Jet....

    Yep, as the title goes...
If you experience problems with a Vodafone Ireland branded Samsung Jet, and 'repairs' haven't helped, PLEASE contribute in the 'Talk To Vodafone Thread': http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055708025

Like many others I have quite a few issues with a new Jet - issues that are mostly unique to vodafone's firmware.

Browsing these pages and other websites/forums/reviews, I realise there are quite a few dissatisfied customers, and I think it's important to not just accept it as 'just another dodgy firmware'!

Don't just search for 'workarounds' while hoping for some future firmware fix... Please let Vodafone (or whatever network you bought it from) know about your problems NOW! The trend is obvious: buyers of mobile phones are turned into a paying focus group for unfinished products, and I believe that is plain wrong!

Please: do not reply with, 'told you to buy simfree' or 'buy an iPhone' or 'just have it flashed'! Good points, but irrelevant! ;):)

    Thanks :)

For fairness sake I should add:
Paul, over in the Vodafone thread ( http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055708025 ) is doing a very good job, and this is not intended to 'diss' or undermine what he's trying to do! Rather: the more people there are who let him know what's wrong, the more he has to work with; to pass on to the tech guys etc etc...

    Also,
Please don't flood him with 'problems' such as 'how do I set up a, b or c'... Those are queries for a different thread. This is about bugs/firmware-flaws/random screw-ups etc
    Thanks
