Do not have a good feeling bout this one think its gonna be a chelsea win unfortunately, gonna find it hard to watch if united play like they did against liverpool!

Can see Chelsea taking this comfortably enough. 2-0 for me. Hopefully though it'll be a draw with lots and lots of injuries.

Not sure how the game will turn out, as others have said form goes out the window in games like this. I'd love United to win, but the best I can see is a draw, Chelsea are playing very well and I still don't think United are, lets hope they prove me wrong today

Yes,i think most utd fans would be happy with a draw.Big games needed from fletcher,anderson(if he plays),and the back 4 if we are to come away with anything.Im off to the pub now,should be a great game!!

As for the game itself it'll be tight, a bit of a dull game overall and more than likely a draw. Hope to be proven wrong though. A good 3-2 United would be nice

Without Berbs I fear even more for United. I feel that it will take something special to get a result today and he was the man, for me, to produce it.

Two very different mentalities are conveyed in each formation.

I very much doubt Fergie is going to go for an attacking 4-3-3, its more likely to be a containing 4-5-1.

I do see what you are saying though. I jst dont expect Giggs or Valencia to be in as much an attacking role as 4-3-3 suggests.

I wouldn't be in the least surprised to see us going 4-5-1 with Giggs and Valencia pushing on the wings. Their midfield could anihilate us if they overcrowd us so putting Anderson, Fletch and Scholes in the middle of the park may be a wise idea.

Mainly because Chelsea have very little width - with A. Cole and Ivanovic (or whoever starts at right full) being their main wingers as such.

Makes sense. I guess I was just trying to say that I doubt united will be overly attacking today.

The 433/451 thing is lessening the need for formations at all though. It'll soon be going the way that there is 5 designated defenders and 5 Attackers. **** positions etc.:pac:

Meh, as far as I'm concerned if Vidic is able to be on the bench then he should start.

I'd rather him come off at 60 minutes without conceding than have him come on after conceding 4!

Brown is a solid no nonsense player, he hasnt had much game time though so Ill concede he is a worry.

OShea/Evra are regulars.

I can see a comfortable win for Chelsea here with Drogba stealing the show. 2-0 or 3-1. Vidic not starting is a horrendous blow for united. Really can see Chelsea domination in all areas of the park.

While Vida and Berbs are huge HUGE losses Ando and Fletch will not make this comfortable for Chelsea's midfield. Hoping for a bit of magic from Giggs or Rooney today...

Johnno has been first choice at RB since the start of last season really. Hes made the position his own on merit.

Basically 7 central midfielders starting. Should be a tight game and I fancy United having 2 natural wingers on the pitch. Rooney needs to stay put in the middle though.

Funny, I think Evra is the weakest defensively of the 4 but as you say question of opinions.

Yeah to be fair, as flahavaj said, O Shea is there on merit.

I was quite vocal in my dislike for O Shea and his ability, I still am at times, but he has stepped up a lot in fairness to him. He is definitely worth his position.

But it is all opinions.

I'm delighted for him and its great for Ireland too but I think UTD need better. Is Vidic carrying an injury or just not picked?
