I'd love to know. I don't wanna be wasting any money! I can sing, but my voice is very quiet and it isn't too powerful. It prevents me from singing out loud, or getting vibrato. I'm not tone deaf either, and while my quiet voice prevents me from singing in falsetto, I can hit notes pretty well.

That's a common problem. You need to use your breath more. I can help u with this for sure. It's all about technique.
