Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well mine is working fine for the last while!
I think someone is pulling your leg!
I know of many, many others that have no problems. They didn't mention it at the techies launch/review I attended at DIT last month!

What daft person made that statement!

That doesn't make any sense. Whoever told you that has no idea what Windows is or broadband is.

At this VERY moment I'm installing it yet again on another laptop.
There's more chance of me winning the lotto than Win 7 NOT working with broadband through it!

Absolute bollocks. What they probably mean is that whatever ISP it is won't give you support if you call them with a problem getting connected from a Windows 7 system.

    My thoughts exactly ;)

The only thing I can think of re: March 2010 is the "freebie" versions of Win7 made available by M$ a few months back will start to automatically shutdown periodically in order to force the freeloaders to make alternative arrangements: buy a license, use another OS, or be bold.

Personally I think Windows 7 is a decent OS, but I haven't booted in to it since I installed Ubuntu 9.10 last week. Now that's a fantastic OS, even better than Windows 7 (for me it is anyway). Broadband works on that too.

Where was I, oh yes Windows 7!...if you like Windows, get that.

Are you getting mixed up with windows 7 drivers for certain 3G or WiMAX cards ?

There was a very long delay for 3G drivers for windows vista when it came out first.
