Hey everyone, moving over in 3 weeks with a couple of mates. We're lookin at rental websites and have seen a few places which look good but want to know if anyone has the real deets on where are the dodgy areas to avoid. Trying to get a place as close to downtown as possible but obviously a short bus trip or reasonable…

Hey everyone,
moving over in 3 weeks with a couple of mates. We're lookin at rental websites and have seen a few places which look good but want to know if anyone has the real deets on where are the dodgy areas to avoid. Trying to get a place as close to downtown as possible but obviously a short bus trip or reasonable cycle is fine.
Sidenote: whats the restaurant job situation? wages? good tips?
