Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all. I was wondering if anybody can help.
    (1) I'm looking for a new broadband provider.
At the moment I'm with irish broadband but am losing signal due to line of sight. Does anyone use the mobile broadband?? ( 3, O2 etc?)
    (2) Does anyone know what the ideal or minimum required upload speeds would be for decent standard of online gaming.
Download speeds i can get no bother but just not sure about up.
    Thanks
    Barr.

Speed is less important than ping times and latency. Mobile "broadband" tends to have high latency which is bad for gaming.

Speed is very important when playing multiplayer games. I found out this in gears of war. If you do not have speed, you may lag and end of up killed before you know it.

thats pings which is making you lag.

anything under 90ms is fine for gaming usually, and an upload speed of 300kbps is more than adequate.
