XFX ati Radeon hd 4870 512mb pci express power help

    Hi all

    I have a question on the following xfx ati radeon hd 4870 512mb pci-express card. Can anyone tell me how many pci-express power leads dose it need as i am building a machine and what to get the correct power supply for it that will have the correct about of connections.     Can anyone tell me if its two pci experess power leads to power it or is one enough.

    It requires two, but it comes with molex to pci-e connectors so you can essentially get any psu you fancy as long as it has enough wattage, Depending on what else you have in the pc even a good 400-450watt would be fine.

    intel quad Q8300
    4 gb of pc2 8500
    500gb wd 32mb cache
    Motherboard Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L
    XFX Ati Radeon HD 4870 512 mb ram
    dvd rw
    card reader
    22" monitor

    psu would be 530w

    o/s windows 7 home 64bit

    This machine is being built for a friend and he plays world of war craft.

    This is why i ask as on the website for graphic card its says two pci-express power

    That pc is overkill for WOW

    Also if i were you i'd go for a AMD processor rather than the Q8300
