Adobe Illustrator - basic tutorials?

Hey folks,

I'm gonna have a go at learning to use Illustrator.

Can any of ye recommend the best ebooks or tutorials for learning the basics?

There's plenty around but I'm not sure which to get stuck into first.

http://vector.tutsplus.com/category/tutorials/ is a great site for tutorials. there is a membership fee but there's loads of free tutorials there also (and you can learn loads from them)
http://www.totaltraining.com/ is great aswell but they have very little free stuff. i've once watched a few of their tutorials and they are good.

Dave. Illustrator is a class bit of software often overlooked because of its complexity.
The Adobe Classroom in a Book series is by far the best one to learn from.
Its a complicated piece of software but stick with it and for gods sake never, ever use it to layout ads. Please.
