    Hi Guys - how much approx. would it cost to fit a velux window?

    I am considering asking a short of work builder neighbour to fit 2/3 to the attic - and lets just say, I'd like to pay him a fair price for the job.

    straight forward fitting a velux
    onto a tile roof or slate
    on to a tiled roof 130 a velux (thats a modest price ,couple years ago i was getting 250 off a builder ,for the big ones )
    on to a slate roof ,a little bit more
    if that fails pay him by the day

    Agreed. I would bite the hand off ya to get it at that price.

    3 windows could be done in a dry day with an early start and no problems on a tilled roof.
