Does anymore remember this, came with all PS1 in Europe as far as I know. It was a demo displaying the ps1's technology

Medieval, one of the most funniest games I've played

    Greatest football game ever

Medieval was fantastic, I'd imagine it's aged quite badly though...

Out of all the posts on this thread....sure pokémon and animals of farthing wood were great
    but
it is The Land Before Time that really had me reminiscing.

    What a movie

Nice one there. My grandad had that on record and every staurday night when we called over the first thing he would do was put that on for me and my brother. Beautiful song and has a nice spot in my memories from the past and of him.

I must say i realy do love this thread. Id nearly ask for it to be stickied. Everything what we lost when the clearasil and the aul hormones came into the picture :)

To be fair, I wouldn't think of posting some of the horseshit I used to listen to, for fear of epic ridicule.

Thankfully my taste in music is much more.....refined now

It could be worse bob.......some people's tastes in music never get better.
    Always remember that.

This is a great website, it has all this kind of stuff on it:

Wasn't there a tv show, something to do with the caracters shouting out:

blah blabh power of fire! and then one character took that element.

    and then

blah blah power of ice! ect ect?

    And pokemon cards?
    7715611_1.jpg

I had all of the collectable ones and a large amount of the battle ones. Those were the days. I'll see can I not dig them up tonight :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,962 ✭✭✭jumpguy

I still have all the Pokemon sticker books, Famous Five books, Pokemon movie books (first book I ever read myself), Yu-Gi-Oh cards and Pokemon cards.

Digging them out would be a serious pain though!

    That was Captain Planet.

Here's a hilariously bad clip of that show, set in Belfast - the accents are something to behold!

I'm just after remembering something from when I was a kid. My grandmother brought me shopping in town one day and bought me a pokemon booster pack, when I opened it I slowly peeled through the cards, smiling at each one. That's when I saw it. Dark charizad staring up at me, I froze for a while and couldn't believe I had it in my hand. That was the single greatest moment of my life :D
The next day in school word had spread I had the card and dozens were at the gates waiting for me, hoping to catch a glimpse :p

Remember Alf? He's back, in Pog form.

I remember in 1999, pogs had a brief resurgence on my road. It lasted literally 3 hours. I had an amazing Homer Simpson slammer, and my brother had a sonic one that loooked like a ninja death star

    Talking burgers?
    Really?
Tell me it gets better than the first 3 minutes, or I'll just have to conclude that you have bad taste in movies.
